A wee coffee cart · Highlands Ranch, Colorado
A roaming espresso cart in Highlands Ranch, built around the coffee we fell for during a few years living in New Zealand. Proper flat whites, long blacks with a backbone, and a good yarn with whoever’s next in line.

We move around Highlands Ranch all week — parks, markets, school lots, the odd trailhead. Here’s where the surfboard is parked.

The cup situation
We’re a coffee cart, not a landfill delivery service. There are three ways to get your cup here, and two of them you never have to throw away.
Any cup, any size, whatever state it’s in. We knock 50¢ off every single time — no punch card, no app, no keeping track.
Forgot yours? Take one of our glass cups for a $2 deposit. Bring it back any day, at any stop, and we hand the $2 straight back.
Ask for a proper mug. Drink it here, chat to whoever’s next to you, and pop it in the return crate when you’re done. We’ll do the washing.
Every cup that comes back is one that never had to be made. That’s the whole trick.
Our story
Little Kiwi Co started as a craving we couldn’t shake. A few years living in New Zealand will do that — you get used to tiny cafes on every corner, flat whites pulled properly, and a barista who actually wants to know how your morning is going.
Then we came home to Colorado and couldn’t find it. So we built a little cart, painted a sunset on the side, and started rolling it around Highlands Ranch. Some mornings that’s a market. Some mornings it’s a school pickup line, a trailhead, or a driveway full of neighbors.
We’re not from there, and we’d never pretend to be. We just think they got coffee right, and we’d like Highlands Ranch to have a bit of it too.
As for the name — the kiwi is a small, flightless, stubbornly determined bird that mostly comes out when nobody’s looking. Felt about right for a cart run by two people and one very good espresso machine.

We picked up “kia ora” over there. It means hello, be well, and thanks for coming — all at once. That’s roughly what we mean when we hand you a cup.

Why we do it
We’re not trying to be the biggest coffee anything. We’re trying to be the reason a few hundred neighbors end up standing in the same spot on a Thursday morning.
Buy a cup for whoever comes next. We chalk it up on the board, and someone’s morning gets quietly better.
Schools, teams, shelters, and the neighbor having a rough year. Tell us the cause and we’ll bring the cart and share the day’s takings.
Local bakers, jam-makers, and first-time small businesses get a corner of the cart, free. Everyone starts somewhere.
Events & bookings
Weddings, block parties, office mornings, market stalls, sports days, the parents’ night that badly needs caffeine. The cart is small, tidy, and fits almost anywhere with a flat bit of ground.
